Pran Buri Forest Park (วนอุทยานปราณบุรี) 

Located within Klongkao-Klongkob National Reserve Forest, the vast area of 1,984 Rai of this forest park has been developed to the Mangrove Rehabilitation project under the royal initiative of Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit. On September 30th, 1982, it was declared a forest park by the Royal Forest Department. The area comprises a one-kilometer long walking trail to enjoy nature and observe the mangrove ecosystem.

Visit Pranburi River - the river that sustains the lives of people by the banks. The significance of this broad river is it not only maintains a natural balance in the ecosystem, but also functions as the center of ecological diversity because it contains salt water, brackish water and freshwater.

In the past, this river was a habitat of ample numbers of crocodiles, and they became known as ‘Pran crocodile’. Pranburi River originates in Kaeng Krachan National Park and flows pass mountain ranges in the west before entering the sea. To enjoy the breath-taking views along the river to the estuary, hire a long-tailed boat that will take you there via the shrine of the town's guardian spirit, Chao Mae Tubtim Thong Shrine, pineapple plantations, and the fishermens village in about three hours.
